Elisabeth Nickles is sculptor living in Philadelphia. She has created a large body of work in bronze, glass and paper and is currently working on a large-scale, outdoor commission for the for the Arts in Transit program for
SEPTA, the Philadelphia regional transit authority. Elisabeth is a dedicated academic instructor in the fine arts and is also committed to her community work. Her interests in nature and concern with the environment, love of animals and involvement in community gardens all guide the organic shapes found in her work. She has completed several private and public commissions and has been included in several national group exhibitions. She is represented by
Schmidt Dean Gallery in Philadelphia.
